Junior Summer Tennis 2008

RS Tennis Academy is in it's 6th year of operating the Summer Tennis Program at Peninsula Tennis Club. Academy Director, Riaz Shivji runs a positive, nurturing program in a safe, healthy training environment for all juniors. Coaches are either USPTA Certified and/or trained under direct supervision by Riaz Shivji.

Mission

To build a true love and respect for the game, develop positive tennis and life skills, and build Champions on and of the court.

Sportsmanship, Teamwork, Positive Attitude, Respect, and Honoring Fair Competition are addressed and coached at all times.

Summer Membership to Peninsula Tennis Club

Summer Memberships are available to children ages 10 and up. Accepted juniors will have access to club facilities, swimming pool, locker rooms, snack bar, and RS Academy Programs. Juniors must sign up in advance for at least 3 weeks of summer tennis with RS Tennis Academy (these weeks do not have to be consecutive) to be accepted for Summer Membership. These juniors can also use the club facilities when not enrolled in a RS Academy Tennis session.

  • Hours: 1:30pm - 5:30pm

Please download and print. Fill out form and send with $325 check made to PTC for Summer Membership. Then register online (link here to registration page)for at least three weeks of RS Academy Tennis paying the member fee for each session.

June 16th. Opening Day 9am-12pm (for all junior and summer members)

Daily Schedule
  • 1:30pm-3:30pm Jr. Academy and Academy
  • 3:30pm-4:30pm STAR Program + Jr. Academy and Academy conditioning
  • 4:30pm- 5:30pm Academy
SUMMER REGISTRATION HERE! - Opens April 21st
STAR Program is Green, Blue, and Red Star. Monday-Thursday. 3:30-4:30pm. Summer members will be able to use additional courts for play before and/or after their group clinic. Fees Members $110 / Non-Members $135
  • If your child is a 6-8 yr old Beginner or Novice they should be in Green Star.
  • If your child is a 9-12 yr old Beginner or Novice they should be in Blue Star.
  • If your child is a 10-15 yr old Novice or Intermediate they should be in Red Star.
Jr. Academy is for 10-14 yr old USTA Novice and Challenger level players
Monday-Friday. 1:30-4:30pm
Fees Members $350 / Non-Members $385
Academy is Monday-Friday. 1:30-5:30pm
Academy is for 12-16 yr old USTA Open + level players
