RS ACADEMY JUNIOR TEAMS
JUNIOR INTERCLUB TEAM
Juniors in the Blue and Red Star Program can participate in Junior Interclubs during the summer. Interclubs are
played with other tennis clubs in the area to help our juniors improve their matchplay and teamwork. Players that
can serve, rally, and score can sign up for this great positive, team building program. Juniors must be signed up
for at least 3 weeks of the Star Tennis Program during the summer to participate.
USTA JUNIOR TEAM TENNIS
Players from the Junior Academy and Academy groups can sign up to play on the RS Academy Junior Team and compete
in USTA Junior Team Tennis Leagues during the month of July (Playoffs August 8-10). Matches are in boys and girls 12's,
15's, and 18's divisions and are played home and away. Team practices are every Friday afternoon and at least one
match is played per week. RS Academy staff will oversee practices/matches and parent volunteers are needed to help
with some travel and match day organization.
