Fall Tennis Programs

Our Fall Tennis Program is held at San Mateo High School and is designed to provide a clear pathway for every junior player, from beginners learning the game to experienced tournament competitors.

To join RS Tennis Academy, all players must first enroll in one of the programs below. Select juniors may be asked to join additional training in small groups and 1-1 lessons during the week.

We offer two pathways:

Tennis Development – Designed for beginner, novice, and intermediate players who are building the fundamental skills of the game. Players will develop proper technique, learn to serve, rally and score, while building confidence in a fun and structured environment. As players progress through our curriculum and demonstrate the required skills, they may be invited to transition into our Competitive Player Pathway.

Competitive Player – Designed for dedicated players who are already competing in matches and tournaments and are committed to making tennis their primary sport. Training focuses on advanced technical development, tactical awareness, movement, fitness, match strategy, and the mental skills required for tournament success. This pathway is intended for players competing in USTA, UTR, middle school, high school, and varsity-level competition.
